Update: Sea travellers continue to face service disruptions

Passengers travelling on Steam Packet services could face disruption to their weekend plans due to the weather.

Gale force winds of up to 80 mph are expected tonight and tomorrow.

This morning's Ben-my-Chree service to Birkenhead has departed on time - its return journey at 2pm is going ahead as planned.

However, tonight's 8pm crossing to Heysham and the 2am return journey could still face cancellation.

Any change to further scheduled Sunday sailings will be decided upon by the master tomorrow morning.
