Vandal punches van window through, with driver still inside

Late last night a serious act of criminal damage was carried out on a Ford Escort Van whilst being driven around Market Place in Ramsey.

The motorists came upon a male stood in the road who refused to move out of the way, he subsequently punched the driver’s door window causing it to shatter and shower the van driver in glass.

The male then ran off towards the Quayside.

The male suspect is described as being in their early twenties, slim build, dark short hair and wearing a black or dark grey polo shirt and jeans.

The incident occurred just past the Royal George Public house and it is believed that the area was packed following on from the "Ramsey Rocks” event that had taken place that evening.
