Members of the public with symptoms of COVID-19 are reminded to stay away from health and social care settings.

The warning comes after an incident last week when someone answered no to screening questions but later tested positive for the virus.

The government said lying about your coronavirus status puts staff and members of the public at risk.

If you tick any of the following boxes, you should stay away:

    • Do you have any symptoms of COVID-19?
    • Are you waiting results of a COVID-19 test?
    • Has a member of your household has tested positive in the last 10 days?
    • Have you  been in contact someone who has tested positive in the last 10 days?
