Lezayre will go to the polls next month as its local authority looks to elect one new member.
Only four people came forward to contest five seats during the local election in June.
As a result, one more member is needed to make up the board's numbers.
If you'd like to stand, you have until Thursday, October 14 to submit nomination papers - if more than one person comes forward, voters will choose between them on November 4.
