Ward 20 at Noble's remains closed over winter

Ward 20 at Noble’s Hospital will remain closed until spring next year.

The Department of Health and Social Care shut the rehabilitation ward three months ago.

A review determined that the temporary measure save £250,000 and boost resources.

Extended closure of the building has been recommended by care professionals.

Minister Howard Quayle has said that Noble’s is looking to improve pressure on bed spaces as a result.
