The Island's Cyber Security Centre is warning people not to fall for a phone scam about card transactions.
On Facebook, the organisation says residents have reported being contacted by phone over an alleged fraudulent transaction.
It says the scammers claim £699 has been charged to them - but the Manx number the call originates from has been spoofed and isn't real.
The centre's advice is not to engage with them, and call your bank on a known number if you are suspicious.
