Warrington rowers appeal to Manx boat owners

Five rowers from Warrington have issued a desperate appeal for help to boat owners on the Isle of Man.

The Yellowbus team was due to take part in a charity challenge on Saturday, which would have seen them row from Anglesey to Port St Mary and back again.

However, bad weather meant their 100-mile plan was cancelled at the last minute - they now can't get another safety boat for eight weeks.

The team has already raised over £4,000 for the St Rocco's Hospice in Warrington.
