Western wellbeing centre to open next week

The opening of a new wellbeing centre in the west next week is being described as a 'new era' for Island healthcare.

The Western Wellbeing Partnership Centre, based next to the Corrin Memorial Home in Peel, will be run by a new alliance of health and care providers aimed at making it easier for people to access services.

Health Minister, David Ashford MHK, says the partnership represents a 'significant step' in changing how health and social care is delivered.

The facility is due to be unveiled by officials next Monday (February 24).
