Wet and overcast conditions for Parish Walk Saturday

Met Office say weather will steadily improve throughout the day

In just two days’ time over 1700 walkers will be embarking on the Parish Walk, with some aiming to make it around the 85 mile course in under 24 hours.

The weather will play a big part in the day, last year of course the intense heat and sunlight made for tough walking conditions.

According to the met office it would seem to be at the other end of the scale this Saturday.

There is heavy rain forecast throughout Friday night which will continue into the early morning, but the situation is then set to improve with only patchy showers for the remainder of the day with general overcast conditions.

It’s expected to be have totally dried up by later on in the day which will benefit those hoping to make it the whole way.
