    What do the public think about this year's budget

    The Budget has brought mixed views from the public - dependent on how much workers earn.

    Changes include scrapping the 10 per-cent rate in favour of 20 per-cent for people earning over £14,000 a year. 
     
    There will be an increase in the tax cap for high earners and a rise in the carers allowance.
     
    £3 million is also being ring-fenced for the regeneration fund, an extra £2 million set aside for government ICT, and the Capital Fund will benefit from a new revenue stream.
