A Santon couple have had to apply for planning permission for their garden - after it turned out not to be a garden.
The McConvilles of Ballanahowe Farm Barns bought their dream home in 2020 and installed an outside hot tub, glamping pod and decking.
But they've now had to apply for retrospective planning permission after it turned out the land was zoned for agricultural use and not a garden.
In their application, they say they want to change the use of the land to a residential garden.
And they add the estate agent who sold the house to them described it as a garden and they had no idea it was anything else.
