Wildlife park raises funds for Australian animals

Curraghs Wildlife Park has raised more than £1,000 for charity.

Last weekend, those who visited the site paid as normal but the cost of entry will now go towards the ZAA Wildlife Conservation Fund.

It raised £1,028.75, but will round up the donations to £1,500.

The funds will be used to help Australian animals and habitats damaged in the ongoing wildfire crisis.

The park also matched each admission fee with a donation from its own Conservation Fund.
