The Chief Executive of the Steam Packet Company has said that a wind farm that has been planned off the cost of the Isle of Man is still years off being built.
THE licence to create a windfarm zone off the North Wales coast that will stretch nearly 900 square miles was granted in January.
The UK Giovernment announced a £100 billion strategy to build a wind farms and there were concerns that it could get in the way of the Steam Packets route to England.
However CEO Mark Woodward says that it's still in the very early stages and it might not even get in the way of sailings to the Island. (audio above)
