A woman’s been fined after police discovered her car tax was more than two years out of date.
Katherine Stokes of King Williams College in Castletown admitted the offence via a coroner’s admission before magistrates at Douglas Courthouse.
The 49 year old had been driving a silver Peugeot 307 on Bradda Road in Port Erin on March 22 when police stopped her.
Officers found her tax had run out in November 2018.
After hearing she’d repaid the back tax, magistrates fined her £100 and ordered her to pay £50 costs.
