A yellow weather warning for coastal overtopping remains in place until later today.
The notice came in at 10pm on Wednesday and runs until 3pm this afternoon.
Ronaldsway Met Office says the areas most likely to be affected are Castletown Promenade and Shore Road, Rushen, and could possibly affect the northern end of Douglas Promenade and Laxey.
Strong South to Southwest winds could cause some waves and a small amount of debris to fall onto exposed roads.
