Police say young people on the Island are being offered support following the death of a man who helped many stay on the straight and narrow.
The Youth Justice Team says it is "greatly saddened" by the sudden death of team member Darren Gale who had worked there for seven years.
During that time he was said to make a positive contribution to many people who had found themselves "at odds with the law".
Anyone affected by his death is encouraged to contact the Youth Justice Offices -where team members will be available to talk.
