Previous Horrible Jobs: Joined a cruise line ship as a lifeguard (I thought!), got on board, sailed off….was told I’d be cleaning bed sheets! Docked back to the UK and ran all the way home!

Big Break: My first children’s book, Shaped Animals in Waterstones! My first time on radio, was doing a Halloween zombie groan for a promotion, and 20 years later I’m still on the airwaves appreciatively.

Embarrassing Moment: Job interview – went well, but then leaving, I managed to walk into a bin! Leg got stuck, as trousers got caught to bin! (I did get the job though!)

Worst place been caught short: Out walking and really needed the bathroom. Thought no one was around, so went in the wilderness! Out of the blue, group of joggers pass…so I waved with bottom in the air!
