Island phone companies say there's a good reason mobile roaming costs won't be cut here.
After the EU scrapped the roaming charges, Isle of Man residents have wondered if they too will reap the benefits.
Acting Chief Marketing Officer Mike Fawkner-Corbett at Sure and Head of Products at Manx Telecom Stephen Kane say the charges are out of their hands as they're imposed by off-Island operators.
They say that means passing on the costs to consumers:
