A former Olympic athlete says she is supporting team Isle of Man at this year’s Commonwealth Games in order to give something back.
Efforts are currently underway to raise money and support for the sporting event which is being held in Glasgow.
On May 16th the Queen’s baton will arrive on the Island as part of the 118,000 mile relay to all of the nations and territories competing in the games.
A black tie dinner has also been organised for this date at the Villa Marina which will feature ‘Bond’ – the string quartet who played at the London 2012 Olympic closing ceremony.
