It happened at approximately 2am on Saturday 2nd July in the area of Derby Road adjacent to the Peel Clothworkers School.
Police would like to hear from anyone who witnessed the disturbance or persons who may have witnessed an earlier argument between a group of three or four males and one female in the area of the Peel Promenade near to the Marine Public house which is believed to have occurred at about 1.00am.
