The latest stage of the Regeneration Scheme will see major work on one of Douglas’s most-used public areas.
Plans have been formed to upgrade a section of the Castle Street end of the town’s main retail centre.
The pedestrian access between Market Street and Castle Street is earmarked for improvement, with new paving stones, lighting and pedestrian signage set to be introduced.
The work was scheduled to take place in 2015, but has now been brought forward.
