A worker's been awarded almost £2,500 from a Chinese restaurant in Douglas after a tribunal heard he hadn't been paid wages he was owed.
Zizhe Dai took Mrs Yang's Restaurant on Bank Hill in Douglas to an employment tribunal, claiming he hadn't been paid properly between April and May last year.
The court heard there'd been a dispute over accommodation payments while he worked for the restaurant, but chairman Felicity Kniveton said the tribunal couldn't make any rulings about debts or rents.
She found in Mr Dai's favour and awarded him a total of £2,487.
